Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Uri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jefferson Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Delgado's choice of entrance music: Darude - Sandstorm. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Uri closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Uri feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Uri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Delgado's waist but Delgado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Uri off to one side.

Uri has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Delgado off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Uri changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Delgado looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Delgado is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Uri can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Uri is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Delgado rolls with it to try and escape but Uri cranks on the arm and Delgado is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
