Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Redof Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan JONES (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

JONES throws a nice looking combination but Castro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

JONES gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Castro to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Castro got a little sloppy there for a moment and JONES has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Castro has managed to get both his arms back between JONES's legs - danger averted.

Redof Castro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
JONES throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Castro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
JONES tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Castro was well out of range. Poor timing from JONES.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

JONES has his foot on Castro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Castro works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Redof Castro will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

JONES throws a lazy right hand but Castro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Castro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

JONES throws a combination. Castro tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

JONES is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Castro is just riding it out for now. JONES eventually gives up the hold.

Castro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Castro is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but JONES is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Castro has hold of JONES's arm. He's looking for a kimura. JONES seems comfortable defending it but Castro has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! JONES is real pain and he's forced to tap out! JONES is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Castro couldn't care less - he's delighted!
