Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Bamber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Hyneman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Bamber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamie Hyneman!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyneman misses with a few strikes there.
Hyneman throws a series of punches but Bamber avoids them all with ease.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hyneman cracks Bamber with a good jab.
A punch combination from Hyneman misses.
Hyneman misses with a double jab.
Bamber misses with a takedown attempt - Hyneman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bamber has a takedown stuffed.
Hyneman throws a series of punches but Bamber moves out of range.
Hyneman drops Bamber with a beautiful combination! Bamber stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hyneman is looking for the KO!
It looks like John Bamber has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hyneman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A shot to the liver by Bamber. Beautiful body shot.
Bamber slips a jab and a cross from Hyneman.
Bamber bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

A left lands for Hyneman.
No joy there for Hyneman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hyneman swings for the body but Bamber moves out of range.
Hyneman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bamber moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bamber tries to close the distance and clinch but Hyneman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hyneman cracks Bamber with an open hand slap.
Bamber misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bamber feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bamber is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hyneman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bamber with a flurry of punches that miss.
Hyneman scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bamber accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hyneman pulls Bamber in close to his closed guard and prevents Bamber from doing any damage or advancing position.
Hyneman's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Bamber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hyneman wants to sweep but no luck.
Bamber is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hyneman pulls Bamber in close to prevent any damage.
Bamber throwing strikes but missing.

Hyneman keeping moving, preventing Bamber from controlling successfully.
Bamber gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Bamber tries to clinch up.
Hyneman jabs at Bamber's body.
Bamber is breathing heavily.

so Bamber counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hyneman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bamber is controlling him.
Bamber wants to stand but Hyneman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bamber is looking to work some ground and pound but Hyneman has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hyneman pulls Bamber in close to prevent any damage.
Hyneman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bamber with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bamber won't allow Hyneman to get back to his feet.
Bamber throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hyneman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bamber keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hyneman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bamber has time to react.
Bamber works the jab nicely.
A right-left combo lands from Hyneman.
Hyneman lands a big right hand that sends Bamber crashing to the mat! Hyneman stays standing though and waves Bamber back to his feet!
Bamber is rocked!
Hyneman flashes Bamber a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Bamber's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Bamber crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Hyneman punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
