We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ag cracks the inside of Guido's front leg.
Ag leaves Guido with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Guido could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Guido throws a right and a left that Ag avoids nicely.
Guido blocks a low kick nicely.
Guido shoots in for a takedown but Ag shows good takedown defense.
Good leg kick by Ag there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Guido takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Danny Guido has been cut.
Guido fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Guido. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Ag finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Guido is breathing heavily.

Ag closes the distance and clinches.

Ag manages to pull guard.
Ag manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Guido on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Guido tries to get out of the position.
Ag controlling from mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ag postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Guido looks a forlorn figure.
Ag has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ag working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Guido looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Ag! Submission of the night perhaps?
