Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julio Romerio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sommer Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Snoop Dogg- Drop It Like It's Hot kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Julio Romerio has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Romerio misses.
Romerio is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Spencer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Spencer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Romerio.
The fighters circling - Romerio throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Romerio ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spencer moves away.

Spencer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Spencer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Romerio did well to prevent Spencer getting side control.

Spencer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Romerio manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Spencer has Romerio in his guard.

Spencer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Romerio gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Romerio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spencer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Romerio decides to stand back up. Romerio steps back and let's Spencer get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Julio Romerio will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Romerio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Spencer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Romerio is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Spencer, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Romerio is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Spencer has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Romerio is looking to defend but Spencer has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Romerio! Spencer pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Romerio taps out and this one is all over!
