The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delaney cracks Checo with a good jab.
Delaney misses with an uppercut. Checo saw that one coming.
Delaney throws a shot from downtown. Checo moves away and avoids it.
Delaney closes the distance and clinches up with Checo, looking for a takedown. Delaney pushes Checo against the cage but Checo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Delaney misses the target.
Checo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Delaney.
Delaney throws out a loose jab but Checo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Checo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Delaney sprawls well initially but Checo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Checo works his way into side control.
Checo works to advance to full mount. Delaney defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Checo looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Delaney is working to get back to half guard.

Checo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Delaney is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Checo is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Delaney scores with a nice strike.
Checo fails with a takedown attempt.
Delaney connects with a good right hand that stumbles Checo. Checo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Delaney connects with the punch.

Checo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Delaney napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Delaney is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Checo asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Delaney tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Checo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Checo wants to control but Delaney is keeping him busy.

Checo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Delaney is trying to escape and Checo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Delaney is forced to tap! Nice work there by Checo! Very nice indeed!
