Maloney gets a clinch.

Maloney has disease pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Maloney pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending disease tumbling to the mat - Maloney dives into disease's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

disease looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Maloney has picked disease up and slammed him! disease can't keep hold of the triangle and Maloney manages to pass to side control!

disease isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Maloney stacks disease on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Maloney!

Maloney is working to tighten is grip on disease's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. disease has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Maloney is really squeezing tight and eventually disease passes out! Maloney breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
