The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
red tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sendoh paws at him with a jab and circles away.
red looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Sendoh gets a clinch.
red gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sendoh.
red throws a knee to the head but misses.
Sendoh is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Sendoh avoids the elbow strike from red, against the cage.

Sendoh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
red throws a series of punches but Sendoh moves out of range.
Sendoh shoots in and drives through. red sprawls well.
Sendoh dives in and grabs red's left leg, looking for a takedown. red pushes down on Sendoh's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeshi Sendoh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

red tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
red misses with a knee strike.

Sendoh has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics red uses from the top position.

Sendoh looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but red is defending well. Sendoh quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! red has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sendoh celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
