PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gareth Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zawodnik Numer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Blurry. Zawodnik Numer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Numer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Numer off to one side.
Jones throws a head kick that Numer semi-blocks.
Jones misses with a kick to the body.
Numer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Numer slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Jones has Numer up against the cage in a clinch.

Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Both fighters circling a little - Jones finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jones throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Numer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Numer wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Jones lands a nice looking body kick.
Numer looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones throws a nice inside leg kick.

Jones lands a big head kick that sends Numer tumbling to the mat! Jones takes a step backwards and waves Numer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Numer is rocked!

It looks like Zawodnik Numer has been cut.
Look low, kick high! Jones uses the oldest trick in the book to send Numer tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Jones is absolutely delighted - when Numer wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
