The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nogalski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Nogalski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Grubisic flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Nogalski seems to be working for a kimura but Grubisic defends the submission attempt.
Grubisic wants to improve his position but Nogalski is controlling well.
Nogalski wants to free his trapped foot but Grubisic is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Grubisic moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Grubisic wants to get back to his feet but Nogalski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Grubisic, right into the meat.

so Nogalski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nogalski is pushing down on Grubisic's leg trying to pass to half guard. Grubisic is fighting to maintain full guard but Nogalski has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Nogalski wants to control from the top but Grubisic keeps moving.
Nogalski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grubisic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Nogalski seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Grubisic is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
