Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Keith Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Burns!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker is looking to land body kicks.

Nice combo by Walker! Oh, that's hurt him - Burns falls to the canvas and Walker follows him into side control.


It looks like Martin Burns has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burns is pushing Walker's head away, looking to escape. Walker manages to hold on to the position though.
Walker scores with punches from side control.
Walker working the ground and pound.
Burns takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walker is trying to get an arm triangle but Burns is defending well.
Walker is putting a hurting on Burns here, landing some big shots from side control.
Walker connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Burns some visible discomfort.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Walker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Walker in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Walker lands a few punches from side control.

Walker stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Burns drops his hands momentarily and Walker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Walker throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Walker misses with a wild body shot.
Walker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Walker paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Burns has managed to clinch.
Burns has Walker pressed against the cage, preventing Walker from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A short uppercut from Burns.
Burns is looking to control Walker's arms but Walker gets an underhook and turns him. Now Burns has his back to the cage.
Burns lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Walker or not.
Burns prevents Walker from breaking the clinch.

Walker breaks the clinch.
Burns takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Walker is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walker ducks right into an uppercut from Burns.
Burns wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance.
Walker takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Walker tries to keep at a distance but Burns has taken the fight into the clinch.

Burns breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martin Burns is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burns circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walker shoots for a double leg takedown but Burns sprawls well. He's pushed Walker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Burns scores with a head kick.
Walker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Burns moves in looking to clinch but Walker pushes him off.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Burns lands with a slapping head kick.
Jab by Burns.
Walker misses with a series of wild punches.
Burns connects with a high kick.
Burns lands a nice leg kick that just misses Walker's sensitive parts.
A nice inside leg kick there by Burns. That's going to slow Walker down.
Walker swats away the attempt to clinch by Burns.
Burns darts in trying to clinch

and Walker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Burns won't be happy with that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walker is looking to take a break and control but Burns is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Burns is pushing Walker's head away, looking to escape. Walker manages to hold on to the position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Burns is looking to get back to his feet here but Walker is keeping cool and he's managed to take Burns's back.
Burns controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
The referee is taking a good look at Burns as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Walker!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Walker is cranking Burns's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Burns! He's tightened the choke and Burns is tapping out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Keith Walker!
