Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose Cuervo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Lundgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lundgren has chosen Samma knas varje dag as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundgren stuffs the takedown attempt from Cuervo. Cuervo gets slowly back to his feet.
Cuervo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cuervo is on top in guard.
Lundgren trying to control the position.
Cuervo has gone for a leg lock! Lundgren slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cuervo's guard.
Cuervo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lundgren is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cuervo.
Cuervo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lundgren wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Cuervo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lundgren decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cuervo to his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Lundgren 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Cuervo misses with a takedown
and Lundgren counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lundgren.
Cuervo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lundgren's guard.
Cuervo is breathing heavily.
Lundgren is trying to control the position but Cuervo postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cuervo trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Lundgren manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cuervo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lundgren counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cuervo is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Lundgren jumps into side control!

Lundgren can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cuervo is looking to escape.

Cuervo is trying to reverse the position but instead Lundgren has taken his back - oops!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A left and a right from Cuervo both land. Nice combination.
Lundgren slips a jab and a cross from Cuervo.

and Lundgren counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lundgren decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lundgren closes the distance and pushes Cuervo back into the cage.
The referee calls for Lundgren to work.
Lundgren breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Lundgren counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cuervo is on top in guard.
Lundgren has his foot on Cuervo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cuervo works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lundgren is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Cuervo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lundgren is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lundgren has escaped and now he's on top!

Cuervo wants to take his opponent's back but Lundgren doesn't allow it.
Cuervo goes for an armbar but Lundgren turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lundgren.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cuervo has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Lundgren has passed into side control.
Cuervo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cuervo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Cuervo wants to get back to full guard.
Lundgren is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Samuel Lundgren showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Cuervo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Lundgren counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lundgren has closed the distance and engaged Cuervo in a clinch.
Lundgren breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cuervo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lundgren to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cuervo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Cuervo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lundgren!

Cuervo is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Lundgren won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Cuervo off his unconscious opponent!
