These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Snake shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Snake throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sugawara slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Snake fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sugawara manages to avoid it.
Snake falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sugawara counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Snake thinking.
Sugawara clobbers Snake with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sugawara rushes Snake with punches - Snake moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Snake goes down! Sugawara follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
