Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mac Razum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Razum throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rowe's waist but Razum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Razum off to one side.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Horrible takedown by Razum or perhaps it was just good defense by Rowe which made him look bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rowe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Rowe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Razum misses with a takedown attempt - Rowe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Razum jumps guard but Rowe stands there with Razum around his waist. Razum gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

and Razum counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rowe won't be happy with that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rowe decides to stand up, so the ref orders Razum to his feet.
Rowe wants to clinch

so Razum counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rowe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Razum tries to free his leg and advance position but Rowe is retaining full guard.
Rowe can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Razum controls the pace.

Razum looking to sit in guard and control but Rowe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Razum is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Razum tries for a takedown but Rowe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Razum looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rowe is one step ahead there.

Razum throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rowe uses it to pass to side control.

Razum manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rowe's best efforts.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Razum is on top in guard.

Razum pushes down on Rowe's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Razum lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Mac Razum overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Razum seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rowe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Razum is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Rowe has managed to free his arm - good work.
Razum stalling away here and it's allowed Rowe to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Rowe gets to his feet - Razum follows without any prompting.
