The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wattson is looking to score with low kicks.
Barreto lands a nice looking kick to the body. Wattson takes a step back to recover.
Wattson throws a hook but Barreto blocks it.
Wattson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barreto. Barreto obviously looking to wear him down.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Barreto!

It looks like Ron Wattson has been cut.
Barreto throws a right and a left that both miss.

Barreto moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barreto drives through with a takedown into guard.

Barreto gets to his feet - Wattson follows without any prompting.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Barreto, right into the meat.
Barreto lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Barreto feints and then cracks Wattson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wattson down.

Barreto throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wattson.
Barreto buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Barreto lands a big head kick that sends Wattson tumbling to the mat! Barreto takes a step backwards and waves Wattson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ron Wattson's cut is getting worse.
A slapping body kick lands there for Barreto.
Barreto moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barreto lands a big head kick that sends Wattson tumbling to the mat! Barreto takes a step backwards and waves Wattson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wattson is rocked!
Barreto cracks Wattson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wattson falls to his knees and Barreto doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
