The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Davis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Johnson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Johnson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Johnson is trying to ground and pound but Davis uses the momentary lack of control by Johnson to regain half guard.
Still in half guard, Johnson seems content to control.
Let's hope that Johnson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters circle, before Davis throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Johnson's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Davis lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
