PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Mcmannus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuran Flup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcmannus comes to the cage accompanied by Right Now. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcmannus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mcmannus. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Mcmannus takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Flup lands a left and a right that send Mcmannus crashing to the mat, dazed. Flup thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mcmannus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Flup stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Mcmannus takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Flup has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Flup lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Flup scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mcmannus in his tracks.

Flup throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mcmannus on the side of the head.
Oh Mcmannus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mcmannus looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Flup goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Flup throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mcmannus colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Flup as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mcmannus is left battered and dazed whilst Flup and his camp cheer!
