Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Kukuev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Nikolai Kukuev has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nikolai Kukuev seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Drago!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago shoots in looking for a takedown. Kukuev tries to sprawl out of it but Drago keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kukuev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kukuev doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Drago counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kukuev's guard now.
Kukuev working for a triangle but Drago defends it easily.
Kukuev has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Drago should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kukuev has tightened it up now! Drago should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
