Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Edwinsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Gaea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwinsson comes to the cage accompanied by M by Ayumi Hamasaki. Gaea is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by im a warrior. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwinsson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gaea.
Edwinsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gaea moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Some wild striking there from Edwinsson.
A punch combination from Edwinsson misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edwinsson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gaea looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Edwinsson throws a wild body kick that Gaea sees coming a mile off.

Edwinsson gets caught flat footed, as Gaea shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Gaea drops back looking for a leg! Edwinsson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Edwinsson manages to kick Gaea off! Gaea jumps back into Edwinsson's guard.

Gaea drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Edwinsson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gaea has Edwinsson in his guard.

Gaea has his foot on Edwinsson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Edwinsson works his way back into a safe position though.
Gaea has a closed guard, preventing Edwinsson from standing up.

Edwinsson is sitting in close to Gaea's body. Gaea has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Edwinsson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Edwinsson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gaea.
