Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philip GO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daisuke Tora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GO takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

GO lands a big head kick that sends Tora tumbling to the mat! GO takes a step backwards and waves Tora back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Tora is rocked!

It looks like Daisuke Tora has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

GO shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tora napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Tora takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Tora is still in real trouble! Can GO finish him?
The referee asks GO politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. GO prefers to stall for the moment though.
Tora seems to have recovered his senses.
GO working away.

GO decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and GO counters with a single leg into guard. Tora didn't expect that.
Tora not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tora is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and GO dives into side control.
Tora is looking for a sweep.
GO passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Tora!
GO lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tora hang on?

That has opened up Daisuke Tora's cut even more.
GO lands a nice shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tora is wriggling around trying to escape.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Tora covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

GO is persistently looking for the submission but Tora is defending it well.
GO has good solid back control here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tora manages to reverse the position and now he's in GO's guard. Nice work there by Tora.

GO is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Tora tries to stall but GO uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Tora wants to break the clinch but can't.
GO slows down the pace here.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with GO for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
GO throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Tora tries to score a body lock takedown but GO shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Tora trying to stall but GO improves his position.
Tora wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tora is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Philip GO has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daisuke Tora.

GO wants the takedown. Tora is fighting it off but GO persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tora's guard against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tora throws a sloppy head kick and GO moves out of range easily.

GO is working for a rear naked choke. Tora is not defending it well and GO has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Tora refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Tora's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
