Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between YB Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and YB Sol Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sol comes into the arena with SFIV - Theme of Ryu 2 blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sol Jr waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sol.

Sol tries to clinch but Sol Jr moves out of range.
YB Sol Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sol keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sol Jr throws a hook but Sol avoids it easily.
Sol Jr blocks a jab.
Sol Jr gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sol Jr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sol avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sol uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sol Jr has time to react.

Sol looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like YB Sol has been cut.
YB Sol Jr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sol Jr throws a head kick but Sol moves out of range.
Sol takes a swing at Sol Jr's ribcage but misses.
Sol Jr scores with a decent looking hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sol Jr tries to bum rush Sol with a series of wild strikes but Sol uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sol Jr sends Sol crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sol Jr is motioning to the referee to let Sol up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Sol is rocked!
Sol Jr lands with a nice body punch.
Sol defending well as Sol Jr loads up on a big left hand.
Sol uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sol Jr.
Sol throws a looping overhand right but Sol Jr ducks down to avoid it.

Sol Jr drops Sol with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sol looks back up at him and smiles so Sol Jr waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

YB Sol's cut is getting worse.
Sol Jr is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sol had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Sol moves out of range as Sol Jr strikes.

A punch lands to the side of Sol 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sol misses with a body shot
and Sol Jr counters with a thumping low kick.
The fighters circling - Sol Jr throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sol Jr! Sol is out on his feet! Sol Jr rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Sol is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Sol is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
