Zimmerman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Linkin Park-- What Ive Done. The crowd seem to be enjoying Quid's choice of entrance music: The Beatles - Come Together. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quid swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zimmerman tries to clinch up but Quid circles away and keeps his distance.
Zimmerman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Eric Zimmerman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zimmerman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Zimmerman has Quid up against the cage in a clinch.
Zimmerman throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Quid blocks it with crossed arms.
Quid tries to score a body lock takedown but Zimmerman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Quid blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Quid is trying to break the clinch but Zimmerman has him pressed against the cage.

Zimmerman moves in looking to clinch but Quid pushes him off.
Quid fails to land with a series of punches.
Zimmerman looks to throw the jab but Quid is out of range.
Zimmerman slips under a jab from Quid.
The fighters circling - Zimmerman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Zimmerman misses with a looping left.

Quid shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Quid was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Quid moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Zimmerman has worked his arm free - good work by Zimmerman!
Zimmerman is trying to get back to half guard.

Quid has hold of Zimmerman's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Zimmerman tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Quid cranks the arm and Zimmerman screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Zimmerman, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
