The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weasley walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gailis lands a jab-cross combination.
Weasley tries to bum rush Gailis with a series of wild strikes but Gailis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gailis throws a nice looking combination but Weasley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Weasley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Weasley has a takedown stuffed.
Gailis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Weasley.
Ainars Gailis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronald Weasley.
Nice uppercut lands for Gailis. That snapped Weasley's head back.
Gailis slips a jab and a cross from Weasley.
Weasley drops his hands momentarily and Gailis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Gailis lands a left and a right that send Weasley crashing to the mat, dazed. Gailis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gailis lands with a big left! Weasley is wobbled badly! Gailis comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Weasley to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
