Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ding Aling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson has chosen "Sandstorm" - Darude as his entrance music. Tommy Henderson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ding Aling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aling fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Henderson sprawls well initially but Aling persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Henderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Henderson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Aling is working for a submission of some sort.
Henderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aling is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aling is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Henderson reverses the position - he's now on top in Aling's guard.

Aling is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Henderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aling swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Henderson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aling was covering up waiting for the punch and Henderson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Aling looking to hit a scissor sweep but Henderson is one step ahead there.

Aling lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Henderson!

Aling looking to break Henderson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Henderson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Aling will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Henderson drops back looking for a leg! Aling is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aling manages to kick Henderson off! Henderson jumps back into Aling's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Aling can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Henderson controls the pace.
Henderson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Aling is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Henderson, into his guard.
Henderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aling can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ding Aling will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Henderson has his foot on Aling's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aling works his way back into a safe position though.

Henderson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Aling is aware though and is defending well.

Henderson stops Aling from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Aling avoids the attempt from Henderson to control.
Tommy Henderson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Aling has control of Henderson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Henderson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Tommy Henderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Henderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
