PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gomer Pyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rezagulu Jalaloglu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pyle comes to the cage accompanied by The Marines' Hymn. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pyle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pyle drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jalaloglu looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jalaloglu looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jalaloglu!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jalaloglu shoots in looking for a takedown. Pyle tries to sprawl out of it but Jalaloglu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pyle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pyle unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jalaloglu wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Pyle celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
