Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Woodcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anderson Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Woodcock!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Woodcock.
Woodcock takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Woodcock keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Anderson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Woodcock keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Silva connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Woodcock on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Woodcock. That did some damage!

Woodcock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Woodcock is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Woodcock to get the leverage.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Woodcock in particular looking to stall.

Woodcock tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Woodcock has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Woodcock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
