Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Riley Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel's entrance music is Red Hot Chili Peppers - Don't Forget Me. A fine choice. Castle has chosen Demon Hunter - Storm The Gates Of Hell as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Riley Daniel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Castle!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Daniel takes a swing at Castle's ribcage but misses.
Daniel throws a big shot that misses.
Daniel throws a right and a left that both miss.
Castle takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Daniel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Daniel throws a right and a left that Castle avoids nicely.
Castle slips a jab and a cross from Daniel.
Daniel misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daniel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Daniel misses with a few strikes there.
Daniel swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Some bone on bone action there as Daniel checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Castle wants to clinch up but Daniel keeps it at a distance.

No joy there for Daniel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Castle moves out of range as Daniel strikes.

Castle moves forwards but Daniel connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Castle tries to clinch but Daniel moves out of range.
Castle throws a right hand that Daniel ducks under and follows up with a left that Daniel also avoids with ease.
Daniel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Castle moves away.

Castle scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Castle prevents Daniel from standing back up.
Daniel is looking to improve his position.
Castle wants to take a breather but Daniel is having none of it.
Daniel wants to get back to his feet.
Castle seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Castle makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Daniel really felt that one!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Castle avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Daniel throws a hook to the side of Castle's head but Castle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Daniel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Castle.
Castle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Daniel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Riley Daniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daniel keeps the fight on the outside.
Castle tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Daniel is able to avoid easily.

Daniel is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Daniel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Castle to score an easy takedown into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Eric Castle will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Castle on the ground.
Castle chips away with some ground and pound.

Daniel is looking to stand up but Castle isn't so interested in that idea.

Castle forces Daniel back against the cage and clinches.
Castle keeps control of Daniel as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Daniel throws a nice looking combination but Castle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Daniel lunges at Castle with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Castle's hand.
Castle dodges the punch combination from Daniel.
Daniel misses with a two punch combination.
Daniel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Castle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Castle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Daniel's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Daniel throws a hook to the side of Castle's head but Castle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Castle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Daniel's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Castle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Daniel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Eric Castle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Castle swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Daniel is now in Castle's guard. A big mistake from Castle there, giving up the dominant position!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I've got Castle winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
