The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rico defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Little.
Rico throws a leg kick but Little sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Rico misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rico lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Little backs up against the cage.
Rod Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab lands there for Rico.
Rico jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rico keeps the fight on the outside.
A jab from Rico misses.
Little moves out of range as Rico strikes.
Little slips a jab from Rico.

Little cracks Rico with an uppercut from hell and Rico crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Little's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

It looks like Rod Rico has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Little lands a couple of digs.
Little throwing strikes but missing.
Little stops Rico from standing up.
Rico not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rico wants to stand up but Little is controlling him.
Little looking to pass the guard.

Little trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Rico is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Little is controlling him.
Little postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Little fails with an attempt to clinch.
Little shoots for a takedown but Rico saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rico throws a hook but Little blocks it.
Rico scores with a one two! Little had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
A slow jab from Rico misses its intended target.
Little lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Rico falls backwards - clearly groggy! Little dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
