Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Jericho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Balwinder Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Microphone. Balwinder Singh will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Andrew Jericho has been cut.
Jericho misses with a wild combination.
Singh slips a jab and a cross from Jericho.
Jericho pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Singh closes the distance and clinches.

Jericho pulls guard.
Jericho is pulling down on Singh's head to control his posture.
Jericho's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Jericho drops back looking for a leg! Singh is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Singh manages to kick Jericho off! Jericho jumps back into Singh's guard.

Jericho is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Singh is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Singh has escaped and now he's on top!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jericho takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Singh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Singh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jericho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jericho decides to return to a standing position.

and Singh counters with an outside leg kick.
Singh scores with a one two! Jericho had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Singh lands a high kick to the side of Jericho's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Singh dives into guard, looking to finish.
