Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rice has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rice is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Rice bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Couture goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Steve Rice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Couture throws a right and a left that Rice avoids nicely.
Rice stuns Couture with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Couture looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Couture throws a right and a left that Rice avoids nicely.
Couture throws a big shot that misses.
Rice takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Rice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Couture circles away quickly and effectively.
Rice takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Couture will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Couture throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rice counters with a stiff right hand.

Rice slips under a jab.

Rice bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Couture! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Couture is rocked!
Couture is breathing heavily.
Rice arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Couture's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
