The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Caps. Caps gets slowly back to his feet.
Johnson goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Johnson looks to land a combination. Caps sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Caps closes the distance and clinches up with Johnson, looking for a takedown. Caps pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Caps fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnson avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Caps. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Caps tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Caps back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Caps is rocked!
Johnson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Johnson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Caps stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson lands a head kick!
Johnson cracks Caps with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Oh Caps is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Caps fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Caps seems to have got his legs back now.
Caps is breathing heavily.
Johnson thuds his right hand into Caps's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Johnson lands with a straight right. Caps didn't see that one coming.
Johnson connects with a nice looking jab.
Crack! A monster head kick from Johnson and Caps falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Johnson!
