Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iron Thehammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ezikiel GooGoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

GooGoo gets a clinch.

GooGoo jumps guard and drags Thehammer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

GooGoo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Thehammer defends it easily.

Thehammer got a little sloppy there for a moment and GooGoo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thehammer has managed to get both his arms back between GooGoo's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

GooGoo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Thehammer uses it to pass to side control.

GooGoo dives in and grabs Thehammer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thehammer pushes down on GooGoo's head and hops out.

GooGoo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thehammer tries to avoid it but GooGoo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thehammer to the ground. Thehammer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Iron Thehammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ezikiel GooGoo.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
GooGoo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thehammer circles away.

Thehammer throws a nice looking combination but GooGoo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
