Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jock Lisewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Raid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jock Lisewski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Max Raid!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lisewski throws a right hand that Raid ducks under and follows up with a left that Raid also avoids with ease.
Raid dips to his left and cracks Lisewski with an uppercut!
Lisewski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lisewski throws a head kick but Raid moves out of range.
Lisewski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Raid.
Jock Lisewski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raid misses with an attempted mid kick.
Raid shoots in but Lisewski avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lisewski fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lisewski is breathing heavily.

and Lisewski counters with a left and a right that stings Raid.

Raid shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Lisewski takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Raid lands a big shot there that rocks Lisewski but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Raid wants to control the pace but Lisewski is squirming around nicely.

Lisewski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Raid on the ground.

Raid is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lisewski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lisewski shrugs it off.

Raid stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Lisewski wants to clinch up but Raid keeps it at a distance.
Raid moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Raid counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lisewski won't be happy with that.

Raid is looking to take a break and control but Lisewski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Raid decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lisewski to his feet.

and Lisewski counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Raid thinking.

Lisewski throws a shot from downtown. Raid moves away and avoids it.

Lisewski closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Raid to the mat! Raid manages to get full guard.

Raid has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lisewski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Raid escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lisewski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lisewski postures up in Raid's guard and throws a big left but Raid blocks it.

Raid kicks Lisewski off and gets to his feet.
Lisewski fails to land with a series of punches.
Raid throws a series of punches but Lisewski moves out of range.
Lisewski tries to bum rush Raid with a series of wild strikes but Raid uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Raid has managed to clinch.
Raid working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Raid is trying to break free.
Lisewski misses with a punch on the inside.
Raid keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lisewski's efforts to push away.
Lisewski lands a nice shot to the body.
Lisewski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Raid is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lisewski tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Raid gets control of Lisewski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Raid will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Raid wants to stand up but Lisewski is controlling him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lisewski is looking to work some ground and pound but Raid has wrist control.

Raid has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lisewski off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Raid dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Raid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lisewski shoots in for a double leg but Raid sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Raid is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.

Raid pushes down on Lisewski's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Raid wants to control but Lisewski is keeping him busy.

Lisewski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Raid wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Max Raid has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lisewski is working hard here to advance position.
Raid wants to control but Lisewski is keeping him busy.

Raid is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lisewski looks calm but he's in trouble here. Raid gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lisewski is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Raid lets go of the hold and Lisewski can pop his arm back in it's socket.
