Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boston Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Manfredo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dean throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Manfredo Jr was covering up waiting for the punch and Dean finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dean looking to sit in guard and control but Manfredo Jr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Manfredo Jr is looking to stand up but Dean won't let him.
Dean wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Manfredo Jr manages to pass to side control.

Dean shoots in looking for a takedown. Manfredo Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Dean keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Manfredo Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dean avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
