The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Centurion is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Quid misses the shot to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Centurion is defended easily by Quid.
Centurion shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Quid as he jumps to the side.
A cross from Quid lands.
Quid thuds his right hand into Centurion's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Centurion keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Centurion shoots in but no luck this time.
Johnny Quid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vicente Centurion.
Quid displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Centurion.
Centurion shoots in and drives through. Quid sprawls well.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Quid.
Quid tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Centurion gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Centurion is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Quid pulls his head out easily.
Centurion makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Centurion.
Quid got a little sloppy there for a moment and Centurion has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quid has managed to get both his arms back between Centurion's legs - danger averted.
Quid drops back, looking for a kneebar! Centurion looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Centurion looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Centurion!
Quid is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Quid taking a bit of punishment here - Centurion scoring with strikes.
Centurion thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Quid sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quid actively working from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Centurion is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Quid is bucking up trying to escape but Centurion cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Centurion lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Quid hang on?
Quid keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Centurion looking to control but Quid is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Quid is in all sorts of trouble here.
Centurion swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
