Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yanick Goossens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goossens tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yanick Goossens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goossens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Goossens misses with a looping right.
Carwin digs a good hook to Goossens's body.
Goossens swings for the body but Carwin moves out of range.
Carwin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Goossens.
Goossens throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Carwin's head.

It looks like Shane Carwin has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carwin stalks Goossens and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Goossens's face. Goossens staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Yanick Goossens has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Goossens.
Carwin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Goossens is breathing heavily.
Carwin digs a good body shot into Goossens's ribs.
Carwin's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Carwin duly obliges.

Carwin closes the distance and pushes Goossens back into the cage.
Carwin lands a nice shot to the body.

Goossens tries to circle away but Carwin has him pinned against the cage.
Carwin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Carwin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Carwin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Carwin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Oh Goossens is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carwin is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Goossens rather than just go for the knockout.

Carwin cracks Goossens on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Goossens falls backwards against the cage. Carwin follows up with more strikes that drop Goossens to his knees. Carwin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Goossens! This one is all over!
