Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Spart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Louis Voisin!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voisin defending well as Spart loads up on a big left hand.
Voisin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Voisin throws a right and a left that Spart avoids nicely.
Spart looks to throw the jab but Voisin is out of range.
Voisin lands a body shot.
A swing and a miss from Spart.
Voisin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Spart was well out of range. Poor timing from Voisin.
Spart waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Voisin.
Voisin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spart on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A telegraphed right hand from Spart misses the target.
Voisin drives through and clinches with Spart against the cage.
Spart tries to work over Voisin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Spart blocks the elbow strike.
Spart lands an uppercut.
Spart works on Voisin's body with a couple of short punches.
Voisin lands a knee to the body.
Voisin throws an elbow but it misses.
Spart tries a body shot but Voisin blocks it.
Spart tries to score a body lock takedown but Voisin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Spart goes for a takedown attempt but Voisin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Spart takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Spart missing with a left hand there. Voisin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Good leg kick by Voisin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Voisin throws a series of punches but Spart avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spart thows a left - swing and a miss!
Voisin moves out of range of the strikes.
Spart stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Voisin.
Spart avoids the body shot from Voisin.
Nice defenses there by Voisin.
Voisin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Spart takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Voisin lands a front kick.
Spart is breathing heavily.
Spart is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Voisin.
Voisin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Spart.
Voisin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Spart paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Voisin plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Spart misses with a straight left.
A head kick misses from Voisin.
Voisin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Spart blocks a head kick by Voisin.
Voisin slips a straight right by Spart.
Voisin just misses with a punch to the body.
Voisin cracks the inside of Spart's front leg.
Spart moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Louis Voisin has been cut.
Spart cracks Voisin on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Voisin falls backwards against the cage. Spart follows up with more strikes that drop Voisin to his knees. Spart keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Voisin! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Spart!
