Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregores Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafa Soares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Gregores Mendez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gregores Mendez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares throws a sloppy head kick and Mendez moves out of range easily.
Mendez scores a takedown into full mount!
Mendez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Soares defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Mendez.
Mendez working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
