Dupuis comes into the arena with Warriors Of Time by Black Tide blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Abdallah's choice of entrance music: California Love. Garry Dupuis has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Garry Dupuis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Ahmad Abdallah!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupuis throws a nice looking combination but Abdallah bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Abdallah takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Dupuis scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Dupuis throws a push kick but Abdallah slaps the foot to one side.
Dupuis doesn't manage to clinch there - Abdallah circles away.
Abdallah has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dupuis finds it's way round the side to connect with Abdallah's head.

It looks like Ahmad Abdallah has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dupuis wants to clinch up but Abdallah keeps it at a distance.
Dupuis looks to throw the jab but Abdallah is out of range.

Dupuis rushes Abdallah and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dupuis wants to break the clinch but can't.

Dupuis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dupuis lands with a slapping head kick.
Dupuis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Dupuis throws a leg kick but Abdallah moved away.
Garry Dupuis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abdallah goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Dupuis stuffs the takedown.
Abdallah tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dupuis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dupuis throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Abdallah throws a push kick but Dupuis slaps the foot to one side.
Dupuis lands a two punch combo.

Abdallah is rocked!
Abdallah looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
BOOM! Dupuis lands a beautiful left hook that drops Abdallah. Abdallah tries to recover but Dupuis is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Abdallah lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
