The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Willie.
Willie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Willie checks a low kick from Lewis.
Willie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lewis.
Lewis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Willie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Willie misses with a double jab
and Lewis counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Willie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lewis moves away.
Lewis misses with a double jab
and Willie makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Willie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Willie loads up on a big right hand but Lewis slips the punch.
Willie throws a body kick that misses.
Lewis throws a hook to the side of Willie's head but Willie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Willie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Willie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lewis's half guard.
Willie in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lewis tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Willie!
