Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bobby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and king kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bob Bobby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, king kong!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Bobby.
kong tries to clinch up but Bobby circles away and keeps his distance.

Bobby has kong up against the cage in a clinch.
kong looking to slow down the pace here.
kong looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bobby escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bobby forces kong back against the cage and clinches.
kong is trying to break the clinch but Bobby is controlling him.
kong tries to break free but Bobby pushes him back against the cage.
Bobby misses with a knee to the head.
Bobby throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

kong dodges an elbow strike from Bobby.
Bobby is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bobby stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Bobby pulls guard successfully.
kong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bobby is trying to control the position but kong postures up.

kong trying to control but Bobby is working from the bottom.
Bobby wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
kong tries to free his leg and advance position but Bobby is retaining full guard.
Bobby is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bobby knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for kong on the ground.

Bobby had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. kong defends it easily.
Bobby might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bobby is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Bobby counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bobby.
Bobby trying to control the position from guard on top but kong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
kong not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bobby seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

kong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bobby is aware though and is defending well.

kong is trying to keep Bobby in close.
Bobby throwing strikes but missing.

kong manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bobby has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
kong lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by kong.
kong keeps control of the position as Bobby tries to break free.

Bobby is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.
No joy there for Bobby, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bobby tries to clinch up.
kong takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Bobby counters with a shoot takedown. kong fights it but they end up in guard.
Bobby is breathing heavily.
Bobby preventing the sweep.
Bobby wants to control from the top but kong keeps moving.
kong is trying to keep Bobby in close.
kong wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Bobby dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bobby throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
kong keeps the fight on the outside.

Bobby clinches.
Bobby stalling against the cage.

Bobby gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
kong is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bobby's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bobby's back!
kong lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Bobby.

kong is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bobby is defending well though. kong let's go of the attempt for now.

Bobby manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.
Bobby shoots in but kong avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Bobby counters with a single leg into guard. kong didn't expect that.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
kong controls Bobby momentarily but Bobby frees himself.

kong is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Bobby frees his head nicely. Oh but kong has switched to an armbar! Bobby is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
