Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quan Raiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Marcel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raiden comes to the cage accompanied by Boss Battle. Marcel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. city of angels kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcel is looking to clinch but Raiden is avoiding it.
Marcel moves out of range of the strikes.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Raiden lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Marcel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Marcel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Raiden is squirming around, avoiding Marcel's attempts to control the action.
