Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Handy Manny!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Espozito is looking to clinch but Manny is avoiding it.
A combination from Manny does no damage.
Handy Manny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Manny throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Espozito changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Manny tries to avoid it but Espozito manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Manny to the ground. Manny escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Manny connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Jonathan Espozito has been cut.
Espozito shoots in for a takedown but Manny shows good takedown defense.
Manny throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Manny clinches up with Espozito and pushes him back against the cage.

Manny breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Manny looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Espozito has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonathan Espozito. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Manny closes the distance and clinches.

Manny lands a left and a right that send Espozito crashing to the mat, dazed. Manny thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Espozito really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Espozito is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Manny has cracked Espozito with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Manny lands another huge swinging hook and Espozito tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Espozito, before Manny can land any more shots!
