And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky McFunkletinkle!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupper IV wants to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tupper IV.
McFunkletinkle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tupper IV.

It looks like Ricky McFunkletinkle has been cut.
McFunkletinkle scores with a body shot.
McFunkletinkle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
McFunkletinkle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Tupper IV is desperately trying to improve his position but McFunkletinkle has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

You can see the frustration on Tupper IV's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

McFunkletinkle doesn't have the hooks in and Tupper IV manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

McFunkletinkle manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

McFunkletinkle looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
McFunkletinkle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tupper IV is looking to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tupper IV is wriggling around trying to escape.

McFunkletinkle working for a submission but Tupper IV is keeping him at bay.

McFunkletinkle thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Tupper IV is trying to control the position but McFunkletinkle postures up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McFunkletinkle wants to control but Tupper IV passes easily into half guard.
Tupper IV wants to stand up but McFunkletinkle has a hold of him and won't allow it.
McFunkletinkle tries to roll over but Tupper IV keeps him under control.
McFunkletinkle wants to control but Tupper IV is keeping busy.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tupper IV wants to advance to full mount but McFunkletinkle doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
McFunkletinkle looking for a sweep. Not yet McFunkletinkle, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McFunkletinkle preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and McFunkletinkle counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tupper IV's guard now.

McFunkletinkle closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McFunkletinkle lands in his opponent's guard.

McFunkletinkle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tupper IV has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McFunkletinkle has managed to get both his arms back between Tupper IV's legs - danger averted.
Tupper IV is trying to keep McFunkletinkle in close.
McFunkletinkle wants to control from the top but Tupper IV keeps moving.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Tupper IV has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McFunkletinkle doesn't defend quickly enough and Tupper IV has managed to lock this one up! Can McFunkletinkle escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tupper IV on a fantastic submission victory.
