The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaper tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dos Equis Guy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Dos Equis Guy. No joy for Reaper on that attempt.
Reaper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dos Equis Guy swivels and escapes.

Reaper shoots for a takedown but Dos Equis Guy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Reaper fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dos Equis Guy avoids it really well and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Reaper.
Dos Equis Guy cracks Reaper with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dos Equis Guy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Reaper to stand back up!
Reaper takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That has opened up Russ Reaper's cut even more.
Dos Equis Guy lands a nice hook to Reaper's body. Reaper takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dos Equis Guy cracks Reaper with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Reaper tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dos Equis Guy pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Reaper is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Dos Equis Guy!
