The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Wizard.
Roederer just misses with a punch to the body.

Wizard shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Roederer napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Wizard is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Roederer has escaped the position, nice work there.
Wizard throws an elbow but Roederer slips to the side and avoids it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wizard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wizard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Roederer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wizard is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
