Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christian Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake comes into the arena with Drake - Right Above It blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Doe checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Drake scoring well with a low kick there.
Doe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Doe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Drake.
Drake will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Drake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Doe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Doe can do anything to dispel that myth.
