Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ian Carroll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darth Nihilist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carroll comes to the cage accompanied by Ladies and Gentlemen by Saliva. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ian Carroll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darth Nihilist!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nihilist slips a straight right by Carroll.
Carroll slaps away a takedown attempt from Nihilist, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nihilist throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carroll's waist but Carroll gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nihilist off to one side.
Carroll really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No luck for Nihilist with that takedown attempt.
Ian Carroll has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darth Nihilist.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carroll slips a jab and a cross from Nihilist.
Ian Carroll is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carroll connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nihilist changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carroll tries to avoid it but Nihilist manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carroll to the ground. Carroll escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nihilist misses with the combination.
Nihilist shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Carroll pinned against the cage. Carroll gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Carroll slaps away a takedown attempt from Nihilist, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nihilist tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carroll sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nihilist somewhat.
Nihilist has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nihilist there as he acknowledges the shot.


It looks like Darth Nihilist has been cut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A slow jab from Carroll misses its intended target.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Nihilist shoots in for a takedown but Carroll shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nihilist shoots in and drives through. Carroll sprawls well.
Nihilist takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nihilist fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nihilist.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Carroll jabs at Nihilist's body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ian Carroll dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Darth Nihilist's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Nihilist tries to move into range but Carroll moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Carroll cracks Nihilist with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nihilist tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Carroll pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nihilist is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ian Carroll!
