Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Cannonball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and john couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). john couture has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cannonball scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
couture tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cannonball wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
couture is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Cannonball lands a few punches from side control.

It looks like john couture has been cut.

Cannonball grinds an elbow into couture's temple.
couture is looking for a sweep.
Cannonball works to advance to full mount. couture defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cannonball is landing with some decent strikes but couture is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That has opened up john couture's cut even more.
couture is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cannonball in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

john couture's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at john couture's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
