Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teej King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Dahh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teej King had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teej King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Dahh!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a takedown attempt - Dahh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dahh looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dahh circles away.
Dahh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
King wants to clinch but Dahh slips to the side

and Dahh counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for King!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dahh fails to advance to King's back.
King slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
King trying to control from the bottom.
Dahh missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
King slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dahh postures up.
Dahh in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
King is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

King looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Dahh preventing the sweep.
King keeping moving, preventing Dahh from controlling successfully.

Dahh stands and steps away. King gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Dahh scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dahh looking to control but instead King has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dahh in particular looking to stall.
King trying to control from the bottom.
King gets back to full guard.

King is looking for a triangle here but Dahh uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
King is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dahh off and has taken his back!
Dahh is keeping busy.
King controls the action.

King is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King scores with punches and elbows.
King has Dahh flattened out and is raining down punches.
King lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
King trying to control momentarily.

A bit of a pause in the action here. King controlling the positon.
Dahh can't escape the position.
Dahh is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Dahh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
King trying to control.

Dahh is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake King off. It looks like it's working - King slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Dahh displaying calm under pressure there.

King gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
King crunches a lovely knee into Dahh's ribcage.
Dahh is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
King tries a knee to the head but Dahh blocks it.

Dahh breaks from the clinch.

King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dahh sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dahh wants to improve his position but King is controlling well.
King scoring with strikes to the body and head.
King is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dahh!
Dahh is in a horrible position here. King smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A nice elbow there by King.


Dahh is rocked!


It looks like David Dahh has been cut.
King takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
King lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dahh hang on?
Dahh is still in real trouble! Can King finish him?
King scoring with strikes but Dahh is staying in there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
King lands a heavy elbow.


That has opened up David Dahh's cut even more.
King takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
King working away from the top, dropping strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Teej King dominated that round.
The cut man is working on David Dahh's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


King tries to clinch there but Dahh circles away.
Dahh seems to have recovered his senses.


The cut above David Dahh's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Teej King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

King gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
King swings away with an uppercut that misses.
King has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dahh avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
King wants to get back to striking at distance but Dahh won't allow it.
King tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
A nice glancing elbow lands by King.

King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
King scores with a leg kick.
Some wild striking there from King.
Dahh moves out of range of the body kick from King.
King with a lazy takedown attempt

and Dahh counters with a nice double leg into guard.
King with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Dahh can't handle though.

King is trying to keep Dahh in close.
Teej King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dahh is breathing heavily.
Dahh wants to pass the guard but King is keeping the position.
King lands a decent shot there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dahh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side.

King bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dahh struggling a bit here.
King wants to control but Dahh is keeping him busy.
King connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dahh some visible discomfort.
Dahh is not content to let King control the position.
Dahh is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked King off and has taken his back!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dahh lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Dahh.
Dahh doesn't have the hooks in and King manages to turn into his guard.

King gets to his feet - Dahh follows without any prompting.

King scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
King is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dahh!
Dahh is bucking up trying to escape but King cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


David Dahh's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Dahh's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Teej King!
